GTI has continued its focus on identification of advanced projects which may provide significant opportunities for future growth of the Company. Indonesia is expanding its mining business with International Mining Companies taking a renewed look at Indonesia.

The Indonesian Government effective 13 January 2014 has confirmed that Nickel is subject to country export ban The Indonesian Government now requires full domestic processing and refining of Nickel Ore in Country.

The Indonesian Government has asked for expressions of interest in respect of the installation of Nickel Smelters in Country.

Numerous opportunities have been considered and reviewed by the GTI team. Theses have included a range of commodities in countries worldwide.

GTI since 2008 has established a presence in Indonesia, giving access to an expanded network of contacts within the mining sector and a Jakarta base from which to operate.

GTI is of the view that Indonesia is an emerging market, with challengers, however opportunities are possible with the assistance of Australian mining expertise.

Exploration has continued on West Australian Projects, at a reduced level. A number of tenement applications have been withdrawn to allow GTI to reduce its exposure to grass roots plays.
